This dowsing pendulum is shaped after the Wu Lou, a gourd which is a vessel of protection, vitality, and spiritual clarity.
With its thin tip pointing downward, it’s designed for readings that require precision and grounding. Traditionally seen as a charm that protects and preserves life-force, the gourd shape brings a quiet, protective energy to your divination practice. Rooted in traditional feng shui, the gūlòu gourd is also seen as a vessel that neutralizes negative qi and protects the space, bringing an added layer of grounding and energetic safety to your divination work.
Paired with a ginkgo leaf charm, it adds a layer of ancient symbolism. The ginkgo represents longevity, memory, and resilience.

DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT:
The Wu Lou pendulum is 3.65 cm x 1.58 cm (1.43 x 0.62 in), and the chain is 22 cm (8.66 in) long. A little ginkgo leaf charm finishes the chain. The weight of the pendulum is 25 grams for the bob only, and 27.27 grams including the chain.

Care instructions:
To keep your pendulum shiny and beautiful, be gentle with it by avoiding direct contact with water, chemicals, salt, and chlorite on the bob. If needed, you can clean your pendulum with a microfiber or a jewelry cloth. When you are not using it, a dedicated box or pouch will be the best place to store your divination tool.
